Oysters at Walvis Bay
At times a tour boat ride brings unexpected perks. We came to Walvis Bay for the fur seals, but stayed for the fresh oysters and champagne they served on board. It's been a while now since I've managed to get tipsy at sea, and it's just the way I remember it - fun with a slight probability of running into a whale. We didn't actually run into it - it ran into us, or more likely miscalculated and just bumped into us by mistake. Nevertheless, for a few frightening seconds, as the small boat was being spun approximately ninety degrees, I held on to the railing for dear life and tried to quickly figure out how can I keep the camera dry if we all go overboard.
